Your security/cleanup deposit is due 30 days prior to your event.
Make sure that everybody knows that the gates at the ranch won't be unlocked until the agreed upon time. We've had people show up ridiculously early for events and create problems for us while we're trying to finish up with preparations. So make sure everybody knows not to come early. They won't be able to get in.
If you're having an outdoor ceremony make sure that your DJ is aware. This requires extra set up.
No glass beer bottles.
Don't forget dessert plates and forks for cake tables.
If you plan on having a sparkler exit, you need a receptacle for the burnt sparklers that will hold water.
Water. Water. Water. Water if you have people setting up and/or cleaning up. Water for your guys and girls here getting ready during the day. And water for your guests. Guests always want water to drink especially late in the evening.

Ice Chests? We have 1 approximately 120 quart wooden cooler behind the bar.
We have a small stepstool but if you think you’ll need a ladder you’ll need to bring one.
Be aware that when you are setting up tables you MUST LOCK all four leg brackets. If you don't the table legs might collapse if weight is placed on the table or if someone or something leans on it.
If you are NOT renting a room to spend the night and you plan on taking a shower you need to bring your own toiletries and towels.
All Events:
Kitchen cleaned.
All personal items and décor removed. Anything not removed will be disposed of.
Banquet & DIY Wedding (in addition to above):
Wipe down all tables and spills or dirt on any chairs. Disinfecting spray is provided.
All chairs in stacks of 5 against the wall.
Beverage Cooler emptied and drained.
Tables folded and stacked against wall.
Floor swept of all debris.
Dressing Rooms cleaned.
All trash bagged and disposed of in dumpster.
It's a good idea to put Acadian Ranch on your invitations. That way guests can follow the signs. Some GPS apps send them to strange places if you only enter the address. LOL
We highly recommend Event Liability Insurance.
"Special event liability insurance protects you against losses stemming from personal injuries and property damage at your event. Medical payments, lawsuits, and property damages are a few of the most common costs which could be incurred during your event."
Another insurance to consider is Event Cancellation or Postponement Insurance.
"Event cancellation or postponement insurance protects against losses that result from having to cancel or postpone your event. In certain instances this coverage can also protect against loss of deposits if a vendor goes out of business as well as coverage for reduced attendance or damage and theft of personal property."

Can we rent the venue for extra hours for the day of our event?
No, hours for the day of the event are based on your package. Extra hours can be rented either the day before or the day after your event for extra time to set-up or clean-up.
Are Dressing Rooms included in the Banquet Package?
No, but Dressing Rooms are available for rent with prior notice.
Are the Security and Cleaning Deposits refundable?
Yes, once it has been determined that no damage was caused, all Acadian property is accounted for and the kitchen has been properly cleaned deposits will be returned. Generally within 10 days.
Are pots, pans and cooking utensils available for our caterer or us to use if we prepare food in the kitchen?
No, you or your caterer must provide their own pots, pans and cooking utensils.
Do we have to have a bartender if we serve alcohol?
